Staying on all things faecal, this image was taken just before sling out time at the end of last season. Bush Camp’s Charles was on morning poop patrol and came across this male lion quartering the Conservancy plains. Certainly the distance and foreshortening from the telephoto lens adds to the story of the zebra’s mid-loaf crisis, but both the and ducked the second shot, just going with the sunrise. SPOT has never been one to avoid looking the gift horse (or indeed zebra) too full in the mouth and is happy to play stool pigeon…...read more
