Year after year people express surprise at the vast herds roaming the Conservancies during February and March. Their jaws gape as yet another mother drops her fawn. Glib, poorly researched guide-books and anodyne brochures have clearly never heard of the Loita Migration.
Hundreds of thousands of these charcoal and striped grazers are still filling up Naboisho. So are a few lucky, knowledgeable tourists.
