This morning, a few hours ago, a couple touched-down in the Mara. Their immediate welcome was some lions enjoying a welcome shower.
A little later, they found a tawny male picking over the remains of a recent meal as vultures glided in like the 6th Airborne did exactly seventy years ago.
Today at eleven, all camps, staff and guests observed a minute’s silence.
