The Guides: Introduction |

Most of our guides have spent extensive time in the field with professional wildlife photographers and they all closely follow a strict code of ethics whilst guiding, We support the Koiyaki Guiding School which trains local Masai to become guides. We donate scholarships and actively recruit graduates from the program, we currently have 5 graduates amongst our team of guides and apprentices. We also identify suitable members of camp staff as trainees and slowly bring them into our guiding team when they are ready. We can assure you that you can expect a first class experience in the hands of your Kicheche guide. |

Kicheche
prides itself in having some of the best guides in the Masai Mara. We
feel that guides are the most important component of any safari and
therefore our philosophy is to employ only the best guides in the field
and to send them regularly on training programs.
