Background:

I was born in Kajiado district in the Rift Valley in 1977 and went to Engaboli Primary and then Mashuuru Secondary school. I started working as a waiter at Nairobi Serena Hotel and then Mpata Safari Club in the Masai Mara. I moved to Kicheche where I worked as a waiter / barman and then in the front office. I then trained to be a guide as that is my passion. I have been guiding full time since 2006 and now studying to obtain a Gold level qualification.

Qualifications:

2008 – Kenya Professional Safaris Guides Association SILVER level.

2006 – Ethno-Botany Course run by Anne Powys AAR.

2006 - Fundamentals of Ornithology Course-Naivasha

2005 – Utalii College Driver/Guide Refresher Course

Interest & Ambition:

Guiding involves a wide range of subjects but my speciality is mammals and birds. I have a good knowledge of flora and love to share my knowledge with our guests. I like reading, traveling and watching wildlife films. My ambition is to excel in guiding.
