Leopard hunting at Kicheche Camps

The visceral thrill of a leopard sighting is oft documented in ‘Spot’. Leopards lazing, lounging or languishing all raise the heart rate towards an unhealthy level. However when that dappled assassin is mobile, its shoulder stooped and belly grazing the grass, this high reaches a rarified level.

This animal was intent on impala and crawled across the plain, using a Kicheche vehicle as cover then exploded across the local airstrip (yes, airstrip). This is not normal, it takes time to calm down from, sometimes many months. There is no known cure.
