“Kicheche Bush Camp is one of my favourite places in the world. From the moment of arrival when I’m filled with excitement and anticipation to the regretful goodbyes at the end, every trip to Kicheche has been amazing. The fact that I return time and time again is testament to how special Kicheche is. The abundance of wildlife both within the conservancy and the reserve is second to none. Of course, it helps that the guides are some of the best in the Mara. The guides’ local knowledge and understanding of animal behaviour both increase the odds of sensational animal spotting. Back in camp the staff are wonderful and over the years they have felt like an extended family. I returned from a trip to Kicheche Bush Camp only 2 days ago and I am already planning my next trip back – probably no need to say any more than that!” says Debbie
‘It’s very hard to single out one favourite moment. One of the things I love about Kicheche is the variety – the brutality of the wildebeest crossings, the drama of the hunts, the affection of a cub with its mum, the calmness and peaceful nature of a herd of elephants moving past the vehicle where the only sound is the tugging of grass.’ says Charlotte
As we come into land at the airstrip, we instantly relax knowing we’re back at our second home and will be catching up with old friends, both human and animal!
